In the Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment 2019 case, the High Court bench on Wednesday stayed the order of a single bench in the appointment case for 5,438 posts. Explain that, in the order in which the moratorium has been stayed, the DGP was ordered to make only one state wise merit list of the candidates appearing in this examination. After which the state government and others appealed about this order, on which the bench of Justices Sabina and MK Vyas gave this interim instruction.
The recruitment of 5,438 posts of Police Constable Recruitment 2019 is getting screwed. With the passage of time, the future of the candidates also hangs in the balance. Now the High Court has stayed the order of the single bench. Earlier, the single bench had described the preparation of district wise merit list as a matter of violation of Rajasthan Police Subordinate Service Rules 1989 and Rajasthan Police Act 2009. Also, the state DGP was ordered to make a single state-wise merit list of candidates for recruitment.
Regarding this decision, on behalf of the state government, AG MS Singhvi and advocate Prakhar Gupta had appealed that the cadre of the constable is district-wise and the responsibility of their appointment is with the SP of the district concerned. In such a case, if the merit list is prepared district wise, then it is correct. Therefore, the order of Eklpeeth should be stayed by canceling the order of 24 February. Now, in this case, the division bench of Justices Sabina and MK Vyas has stayed the order of the single bench on the appeal of the state government and others.
