What is the full form of UPSSSC “Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission

The full form of PET is Preliminary Eligibility Test ”. In Hindi it means ‘Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission Preliminary Eligibility Test’.

Earlier, if the student failed in any of the examinations of the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), he had to give his complete information and details for the application for the other examination of the Commission. But now  after registration under the new rule,  no details will have to be uploaded. A provision has been made to conduct the Preliminary Eligibility Test to be held once in a year for the recruitment of ‘Group C’ of different departments twice a year. However, in this rule, the candidate will have to take the exam only once, but if he can sit again in the exam to improve his score. For this, no maximum limit rule has been left.

How long will the PET Score Card be valid

This score card will be considered valid only for three years.

What will be the format of UPSSSC PET

The examination should be conducted twice which will be divided into Pre and Mains. In the first phase, a question paper of 100 questions will come, which will have to be completed in 120 minutes. Along with this, you will also have to face negative marking. 1/4 mark will be deducted for 1 wrong answer.

In the Preliminary Examination, the candidates have  general knowledge  , General Knowledge, Hindi,  Reasoning Ability  and High School level General Mathematics subjects. After this, the shortlist is done for the next level main exam, skill test, physical test. For this, there is a provision for recognizing the highest score obtained in the PET (PET) exam in three years by the candidate.
