These are the officials appointed by AMLO to deal with the financial and finance sector

By instructions of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, president-elect, nine of the officials who will direct various public agencies linked to the finance and financial sector were announced from December 1, these are the holders of the Consar, Condusef, CNBV, among others.

Abraham Everardo Vela Dib was appointed as president of the National Commission of the Retirement Savings System (Consar). He has a PhD in Economics from the University of California and has held various positions at Banco de México (Banxico), in the Secretariat of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP) and has been a visiting economist at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Bank for International Settlements.

The second unveiled appointment is that of Adalberto Palma Gómez , who has been appointed as president of the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV). He is currently President of the Council of the Union of Mexican Financial Institutions and Executive Director of the Aspen Institute – Mexico.

He was also an independent member of the Governing Board of the Institute for the Protection of Bank Savings from 1999 to 2003, and president of the Bankers Trust for Mexico, Colombia and Venezuela, from 1994 to 1999.

The National Bank of Public Works and Services (Banobras) and the Federal Mortgage Society will be under the command of Jorge Mendoza Sánchez , who is currently Corporate Finance Director of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE). In the public sector, he has also worked in the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit

The National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Users of Financial Services (Condusef) will be in charge of Oscar Rosado Jiménez , who was treasurer of the then Government of the Federal District, from 2000 to 2006, during the Headquarters of Andrés Manuel López Obrador and Alejandro Encinas.

Ernesto Prieto Ortega will be at the head of the National Lottery for Public Assistance and Forecasts for Public Assistance, he has a law degree from the Autonomous University of Querétaro. He was Deputy Treasurer of Fiscalization in the Secretariat of Finance of the then Government of the Federal District, as well as General Director of the Civil Registry, both positions during the leadership of the government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

On the other hand, Eugenio Nájera Solórzano will be the next CEO of Nacional Financiera, as well as the National Bank for Foreign Trade.

Nájera Solórzano has a career in the business world as he has been a senior executive and CEO of national, global, public and private companies, as well as founder and main shareholder of other companies.

Galia Borja Gómez , will be responsible for the Treasury of the Federation, she is the current Deputy Director General of Revenue in the Treasury of the Federation. From 2001 to 2007 she was responsible for various financial positions in the Finance Secretariat of the then Federal District Government.

While Javier Delgado Mendoza , he was appointed as general director of the National Financial Development Agency for Agriculture, Livestock, Forestry, and Fisheries, as well as Agroasemex, the Capitalization and Investment Fund of the Rural Sector, the Shared Risk Trust and the National System of Guarantee

Ricardo Ernesto Ochoa Rodríguez will be the future president of the National Commission of Insurances and Bonds, he is currently deputy director general of Finance, Operations and Systems at the National Development Finance Company. He has held various positions in the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, where his last position was that of Head of the International Affairs Unit from 2006 to 2012.
